The Bharat City Phase-1 Apartment Owners Association (AOA) inaugurated the “The Reading Retreat” library cum senior citizen recreation room on 13 October 2025, led by AOA President. This new initiative aims to provide residents, especially senior citizens, a peaceful space for reading, learning and meaningful engagement. The Reading Retreat offers newspapers, magazines, books and indoor games to promote healthy social interaction. During the event, senior citizens expressed their delight, calling the facility a much-needed addition to the community. The AOA stated that the library will help revive the culture of reading and create a mentally enriching environment for all age groups. Residents also highlighted that such a space encourages positive conversations and enhances community bonding.

The facility will be open daily during designated hours for all registered residents.
The AOA plans to expand the collection of books and introduce thematic reading activities in the coming months. The inauguration marks a significant step towards building a vibrant and knowledge-oriented community within Bharat City.
